Children's ombudsmen offer to introduce annual certification for children in family education. The ombudsman for children in Moscow, Yevgeny Bunimovich, said that in some families they only declare home education, but in fact they are not really engaged in it. It is reported by the Agency of urban news "Moscow".
Bunimovich and his authorized colleagues made a proposal to introduce annual certification, as now there is not enough capacity to verify such families.
According to the Ombudsman, it happens that children in home schooling are not ready for the state final certification, and it turns out that only for the ninth grade.
He noted that the family should have responsibility, at the same time the state should support this form of education, like others.
According to various estimates, in Russia from 100,000 to 250,000 children are attending family education.
